Car ran when I looked at it. Dude just put in all new rings and bearings, ARP head and main studs. No rod knock or any crazy sounds, motor had 0 miles on it. I compression tested it, highest cylinder was 95psi, lowest was 40. Did leakdown test just for giggles. Tore apart the motor, the bearings were fucked, metal shavings throughout, some gouging in the cylinders, crank journals were even gouged from the dirty assembly. Not to mention the cam gear that was installed backwards that clearanced the CAS a bit. That said, I'm kind of glad it happened the way it did. Block is at the machine shop right now with some high compression Wisecos, crank was worked a bit, all new bearings, and I'll have peace of mind that it was assembled correct this time since I'm doing it.
